We all have our favorite summer activities, whether that’s going for a long walk or spending the day gardening, these are hobbies that can only be fully enjoyed during summer. Overall, kayaking can take a boring day to a perfect summer day on the water.

For laid back days, taking your meal outside can make a huge difference. There are many advantages to being outdoors while eating your meals. Not only are you changing up your regular setting, but you are also reducing stress and boosting your mood just by being outside. Go to a beach!

Our favorite beach in Lake Geneva is the Riviera Beach which is conveniently located between some great local shops and restaurants!

Go on a nature walk

Our favorite walk to do in Lake Geneva is the Geneva Lake Shore Path. Round trip it is a beautiful 21 mile hike, but you can shorten the walk to make it as short or as long as you’d like!

Go to a Winery

The Studio Winery in Lake Geneva is a great place to visit over the summer. They have a wide selection of wines and helpful staff who will gladly help you find your perfect bottle. They also feature live music some nights!

Go to an Outdoor Movie

The Riviera Beach features Moonlight Movies on the Beach once a month. August’s movie will be The Princess Bride and will be played on August 7th at dusk (around 9:00 pm)! This event is FREE, but there will be popcorn, candy and refreshments available for purchase at the concession stand.

Go on a Picnic

Go to a Concert

Lake Geneva hosts a ton of amazing live performances over the summer. Some of our favorites are: Concerts in the Park which is hosted every Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Flat Iron Park, live music by Triple D in the Waterfront every Saturday from 9:30 pm to 1:30 am, and Live Music Fridays every Friday at the Grandview Restaurant.
